Vaisala is a global leader in weather, environmental, and industrial measurements headquartered in Vantaa, Finland.
Omoroi’s senior full-stack consultant joined Vaisala’s development team as a front-end specialist. During the cooperation over a four-year period, the consultant participated in several full-stack software projects with Vaisala’s embedded devices that collect weather data high up in the clouds.
With the team, the consultant developed and maintained the current market-leading solutions and also took part in developing the next generation of weather measurement systems software.
The agile way of working in Vaisala’s software team provided an excellent basis for designing and developing new products. Sharing ideas and knowledge between team members is also one of Omoroi’s core ideas with software development.
Vaisala’s agile team, open to new ideas and ways of doing things, provided an environment that led to many innovations during the development. All this resulted overall in better products and more value for the customers.
